We have been listening! What we heard was that you want more information without having to spend the whole day digging for it. We heard that you wanted friendly knowledgeable staff who was there to answer your questions. We heard that you want convenient hours. We also heard that you'd like to have a little hospitality to go along with it!

Well then...that's exactly what you will get! Come in and visit us in the Gateway Visitor Center. We will provide you with tons of history, ideas,tips, maps, brochures and information right at your fingertips. We will do it with a smile and we'll even give you a great cup of joe to go with all of it.

We have over a million acres of public land in Moffat County. We know you won't be able to see and do it all in one visit, but we hope you will agree that we have made you feel welcome enough to come back anytime!
